Can you feel it? Fall is in full swing, which means I put the final touches on my fall bucket list and started to transition my skincare routine. Yes, I swap my skincare seasonally just like I swap my clothes!
I’ll share more about this in the coming weeks, but as the weather gets cooler and drier – so does my skin. As a result, I incorporate steps that are more hydrating, nourishing and relaxing. This year the latter point is especially true. Between the state of our country and our home (#packing) I’ve been more stressed than usual and am looking ways to comfort my mind, body and skin.
Fortunately for me, Beautycounter just launched their new fall sets and I’m embrace all of the self care staples. I gave a preview of my favorite sets over on stories, but wanted to create a place for them to live here, too.
Every year Beautycounter launches limited edition sets starting in the fall, with multiple launches that carry through to the holidays. This past week, 11 sets were launched! I’ll share a bit about them here, highlight my favorites (*Nora’s Fave) and share why I love them, how I use them, what makes them safer and who they’d be great for.

SKINCARE
Countertime Radiant Skin Set | $89 ($109 value) *NORA’S FAVE
What it is: The age-defying gift that keeps on giving! The Countertime Tripeptide Radiance serum is my go-to evening treat step and now comes with the new Turn Back Time Facial Roller – and this is the only place you can get it!
Why it’s safer: Like the entire CT line, the serum contains Beautycounter’s Retinatural Complex, aka a clean alternative to retinol, which increases skin’s firmness and elasticity and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles without toxic ingredients (and negative side effects).
Why I love it: I love that the TBT roller is similar to a jade roller but better – the zinc alloy in the tip cools and depuffs skin, for a brighter-looking, toned appearance. I also love that by combining it with the serum, I can instantly boost the results of my skincare and optimize my skin’s moisture barrier, which is critical for me as the season change!
Who it’s great for: This is my favorite treat yourself gift. It’s also perfect for anyone who really wants to step up their skincare game (moms, mother’s in law, besties and sisters!)
Bright Side Duo | $75 *NORA’S FAVE
What it is: The best set of them all, tbh. This set of our best selling treat steps – All Bright C Serum for daytime, Overnight Resurfacing Peel for nighttime – in smaller than normal bottles is a complete game changer for almost every skin concern. It’s gonna go fast!
Why it’s safer: Both products are formulated without synthetic fragrances, PEGs, or formaldehyde-releasing preservatives. Many peels use high levels of one or two resurfacing acids that may cause irritation. For the Overnight Resurfacing Peel, Beautycounter uses a combination of both resurfacing acids and soothing acids to aid in cell turnover to improve skin texture while being gentle yet effective on the skin.
Why I love it: I am a peel FANATIC (I even wrote an entire post about it). I use it every other night and started incorporating the C serum again recently. It smells delightful and is such a treat in the mornings – this pair is where I’ve seen the most results (brighter, more hydrated, more even and less breakouts) with my skin. What’s not to love about that?
Who it’s great for: Anyone who wants radiant, glowing skin 24/7! This set works for all skin types and those concerned with dull, uneven skin tone. I’ll be gifting this to my family and friends who have yet to try Beautycounter or switch to safer because lets be honest, most of my current clients already have and love these two products!
Polish and Protect Lip Duo | $34
What it is: A lip saving set that exfoliates, conditions and nourishes in two simple steps. The lip polish gently exfoliates with organic sugar and the better balm (a luxury chapstick) contains murumuru butter, a plant that is native to the Amazon, and is known to seal in moisture.
Why it’s safer: The better balm contains organic sunflower wax, an emollient known to hydrate and condition lips instead of mineral oil, parrafin, acrylic acid, petrolatum, or propylene glycol that are – gasp – found in most exfoliants and balms (and never in Beautycounter products). Seriously, check your ingredients. You’d be shocked at what’s in the average chapstick!
Why I love it: My lips always take a turn for the worst come November/December. And while I always remember to exfoliate my face, I’ve been less consistent about doing the same for my lips! Adding this has been a game changer (I know because we had the same set last year). I also love that the balm locks, so it won’t spill in my fanny pack (my purse of choice these days).
Who it’s great for: Anyone who has lips 😉 But also anyone who isn’t into makeup or skincare but would enjoy a little pampering. This fuss free and reasonably priced set is a great intro to the clean beauty world.
Special Edition Cleansing Balm | $89 ($120 value)
What it is: An extra large container of our best selling multi-purpose balm: this balmy cleanser hydrates while it cleanses and removes makeup and impurities with nourishing ingredients that won’t strip away your skin’s natural moisture. Bonus – it’s also great on cuticles and sunburns and can be used as a hydrating overnight mask.
Why it’s safer: Featuring lotus extract, an active stem cell that helps to soothe and de-stress the skin, and a blend of jojoba and avocado seed oils which mimic the skin’s natural lipid barrier, this innovative cleanser locks in moisture while cleansing without mineral oils, heavy waxes or parabens.
Why I love it: This balm is a cult favorite for helping with dryness and clearing out pores. I love it as the first step in a two-step cleansing routine!

BODYCARE
Ultimate Renewal Bath Set | $89 *NORA’S FAVE
What it is: Three products – a dry brush, a sugar scrub and a body oil – for a luxurious at-home spa moment! Used together they reveal hydrated, healthier-looking skin and boost peace of mind. This set contains everything you need to unwind before, during, and after bathing.
Why it’s safer: Unlike most scrubs and oils, Beautycounter’s are formulated without mineral oils, synthetic fillers, and phthalates which may contain potentially harmful ingredients. Plus, the lemongrass and rosewater scents are both formulated without synthetic fragrances. Instead, you’ll find a nutrient-rich, nourishing blend of botanical oils #blessup.
Why I love it: Ever since I implemented my spa shower ritual during early quarantine, I’ve felt so much more relaxed. This set will take that to the next level, and I love that it basically requires me to slow down and treat myself. Also the new scrub formula (the fine grain sugar!) and the new body oil (the rosewater scent – omg) are such a freaking treat.
Who it’s great for: Anyone who needs a little extra boost, including yourself! This set is my favorite fall set because it’s so thoughtful. Making the most of everyday moments and taking time to nurture my mind, body and spirit is something I’m really focusing on this season and I’m excited to share that with others, too!
Good Glow Body Duo | $59 *NORA’S FAVE
What it is: This softening, glow-getting duo transforms dry skin that’s in need of some TLC! Featuring a new and improved body scrub with a more refined formula but the same, envigorating lemongrass scent, and a new lightweight illuminating lotion that hydrates, brightens and boots dull and seasonally sad skin.
Why it’s safer: This scrub gently exfoliates skin with organic finely-milled sugar rather than the polyethylene beads common in most scrubs, that may consist of potentially harmful ingredients. The lotion is formulated with botanical oils such as argan and avocado, rather than propylene glycol or ethoxylated emulsifiers and mica that is sustainably sourced and rigorously screened for both heavy metals and trace contaminants (you can read more about mica here).
Why I love it: The smells. I’ve been a tried and true fan of this scrub for years. The lemongrass is so envigorating and my fave for a spa shower sesh. The lotion features a new citrus chamomile scent, that equally refreshing without icky fragrance. I think the price point is fantastic and way less than I expected, tbh!
Who it’s great for: This self-care essential is perfect for anyone who could use a little pampering. I opened this one immediately and have been using it non-stop! It’ll be the perfect pairing come winter, so I’m keeping it in mind for my nothern family and friends!
Good Scents Body Butter Trio | $49
What it is: A trio of our fan-favorite decadent body butters that glide on easily, absorb quickly, and cocoon the body in one of three new scents: calm, uplift and balance. Does that sound creamy and dreamy or what?
Why it’s safer: As sweet as these new scents are, our body butters are formulated without synthetic fragrances. As with all of the fragrances we use, we rigorously screen for trace contaminants to ensure they meet our strict safety standards. Beautycounter’s commitment to transparency means we disclose all of our fragrance ingredients, so you know exactly what is in our products!
Why I love it: Beautycounter body butters are a true treat for the skin and the senses – I love that the super subtle scents are aromatherapeutic and are designed to calm, uplift, and balance. Plus, the whipped texture of the butter is easy to rub in (a criteria of mine when it comes to body butters!). It’s probably due to the not-so-secret incredient, saccharide isomerate, a plant-derived hydration booster that improves skin dryness while strengthening the skin barrier, leaving skin hydrated and smooth.
Who it’s great for: These sets are fantastic to gift because they can easily be broken up! Save one for yourself and combine the others with a calming tea bag and a manuka honey packet for a serious self care surprise for friends, your book club, teachers and more! Add a tea cup (under $6) and wrap everything in a tea towel (I love these and these) for sweet and sustainable touch!
Good Scents Hand Cream Trio | $34
What it is: Lightweight yet ultra-hydrating, they’re enriched with shea butter, grapeseed and jojoba oils, plus squalane (my favorite skincare ingredient!) for a rich, non-greasy texture.
Why it’s safer: Beautycounter hand creams are formulated without petrolatum, cyclic silicones, or synthetic fragrance that you find in most hand creams. Instead, squalane, grapeseed oil, jojoba oil and shea butter replenish, condition and lock in moisture.
Why I love it: I am super picky when it comes to hand creams because I find most to be greasy which means I use them once and then they sit in my cabinet forever. These are not greasy and they are 2x the size as last years version! Despite the boost, they are still the perfect size for purses, bedside tables and fanny packs 😉
Who it’s great for: Literally anyone and everyone! Like the body butters, these are a great gift to buy and break up. I’d pair this with a coffee mug (this set is perfect to split up), and a gift card to a local coffee spot for teachers and friends! You could even do a tumbler (I have and love this one and it’s a great price!) or a reusable wine glass and a gift card to a local bookstore.
MAKEUP
Golden Hour All-In-One Palette | $65 *NORA’S FAVE
What it is: An all-in-one curation of four gleaming eyeshadows, a warm blush, and an illuminating highlighter is super versatile for day or night! The built-in mirror allows for easy application and touch ups, too.
Why it’s safer: This palette is completely talc free! While Beautycounter doesn’t believe that talc poses a potential health risk in our products when used as directed (and certified asbestos free), at the request of our clients, we set out to offer a talc-free solution that meets our high-performance objectives and strict heavy metal limits. Why I love it: This is a product that actually gets me excited about the rare occasion that I do a full face of make up! You can find my tutorial here. And, in addition to being the perfect boost to my typical Beautycounter Flawless in Five, I love that the palette gives back: 10% of proceeds go to communities impacted by mica mining in India (more about our responsbily sourced mica initiative here).
Who it’s for: This is a great gift for the gal who loves make up or wants an easy way to feel super special on the reg. I know palettes can be overwhelming but this one makes application such a breeze!
The Jellies: Shimmers | $39
What it is: THEY’RE BAAAACK! The jellieeeeeees! These were a best seller last year and for good reason – these universally flattering lip glosses (I think of them as a gloss/stick/balm combo) glide on easily with a wash of shimmery sparkle and NO sticky finish. The five new scents are seriously dreamy: Cocoa, Caramel, Peppermint, Sorbet, and Honey.
Why it’s safer: Despite these delicious scents, you won’t find undisclosed fragrance ingredients here! Ingredients like stevia (adds sweetness) and esters (leave lips feeling soft and supple) combine for a much safer lip experience.
Why I love it: I kid you not, the jellies saved my lips last season. They are sneakily hydrating and never drying and helped when my lips were pretty raw and chapped. I love this year’s universally flattering shades and how the subtle shimmer adds a glowing touch!
Who it’s for: These are great for kids, teens and anyone you want to surprise with a sweet treat. Instead of chocolate or baked goods, mail your friends and family a Beautycounter jelly (or two!) as a part of a safer self care package! You could even combine these with sweet treats if you wanna go the extra mile 🙂
Beyond Gloss Trio | $49
What it is: Three full-size lip glosses in limited edition shades (Iris Shimmer, Lilac Shimmer, Wild Berry) that deliver high-impact shine and conditioning lip benefits with a sweet limited-edition Mandarin Violet scent.
Why it’s safer: You won’t find BHT or plasticizers, which may be linked to harmful effects to human health and environmental impact concerns, here! Why I love it: Okay there are seriously so many benefits to these glosses but my fave is the next level shine without that icky sticky feeling I get with most glosses.
